AER exams

Learning Support – Term 4, 2023 Examination Period and the Alternate Exam Room

The examination period is fast approaching. Students should be starting to think about exams, clarifying topics they will be examined on with their teachers and beginning to revise for them.

The Alternative Exam Room  (AER) will be in operation again. The AER is a classroom where students from Years 7-11 can sit to complete their exams. The AER is supervised by Learning Support Officers and has a more relaxed atmosphere – a smaller room, less students and more support in the areas that students need.

As per Semester 1, applications will be via Google Form for Students to apply to sit in the AER. Numbers are limited and applications will be reviewed and confirmed by email, if successful.

If Students opt into the Alternate Exam Room, they will sit all their exams in there, irrespective of whether they are sitting modified exams or not.

For students who have been receiving modified work during the year, but do not wish to sit in the AER, they can sit their exams with their year level.
