SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships closing soon

Australian Property and Research Fund, Rural and Regional Education Scholarship.

The scholarship fund spans the duration of an Australian Property Institute (API) accredited property valuation degree, totalling a maximum term of 3-years, awarded yearly at $10,000. The fund supports the awardee to relocate to a university of their choosing and assists with payment of books and materials as well as tuition. Together with financial support, the awardee of the scholarship will also be supported by a senior API-certified property professional who will act as a mentor during their studies. Applications close 30 October 2023

Australian Veterans’ Children Assistance Trust (AVCAT)

AVCAT scholarships include Long Tan Bursaries and sponsored scholarships. Sponsored scholarships are for the children and grandchildren of ex-serving veterans. Long Tan Bursaries are for the children and grandchildren of Vietnam Veterans and are available in each state and territory. Applications close 31 October 2023

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE

Gap Year Program

It not too late to apply for the Gap Year Program. There are still roles open in the Navy, Army and Air Force. The Gap Year program offers students a fantastic opportunity to work for the ADF for 12-months, meet people from all over Australia, develop skills in team work, initiative and leadership, and earn a high wage. RICHMOND INSTITUTE OF SPORT LEADERSHIP

This is a partnership program between Richmond Football Club and Swinburne University. As part of the 12-month program, students will study a dual Diploma in Sports Development and Leadership and Management. The campus is at Melbourne and online courses are available. Prospective students are invited to attend an upcoming Dual Diploma information session:

SUMMER SCHOOLS

Indigenous Australian Engineering School (IAES) 2024

The IAES will be held at Sydney between 14 – 20 January 2023. Year 10 – 12 participants will experience:

  • a fully sponsored week-long program 
  • exploration of various engineering fields 
  • site visits, cultural activities, and more 
  • networking with industry professionals 
  • recreational fun on Sydney Harbour.

University of Melbourne - VCE Summer School
