GEOGRAPHY

YEAR 10 GEOGRAPHY

What types of landscapes can be found along our local coastline?  How were they formed and how are they changing?  How is human use and climate change, affecting our coastline and how can we manage this?  These are some of the questions explored by the year 10 Geographers, as part of their fieldwork trip to Inverloch.

Applying their fieldwork skills, the year 10 Geography class investigated the extent of erosion at Inverloch surf beach and the strategies applied to manage this.  A big thanks goes out to the weather, for a perfect day, and to Andrea Jenkin for her support on the day.
