ADVANCE CAMP

ADVANCE

Our brave and resilient Year 9 and 10 Advance students finished the final stage of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award on Monday and Tuesday with their last overnight expedition to the Mornington Peninsula. The students designed the camp, selecting activities that allowed them to experience the historical and cultural significance of the Peninsula. They planned all their meals and were expected to be independent in managing the challenging weather conditions of torrential rain and gale force winds that were dealt to us. Each student kept a positive attitude and embraced the outdoor adventure that saw us spending some time with the wallabies at the Moonlit Sanctuary, exploring the Forts at Point Nepean National Park and enjoying a trip on the famous Arthurs Seat Chairlift. Well done to everyone for their enthusiasm and perseverance.
