Year 12 Exams

Congratulations to the VCE Year 12 students for completing their end-of-year examinations!

I want to congratulate students on their preparation and organisation during this period. Students turned up on time and with all the required materials. The general vibe was overall extremely positive, with the students feeling like they did well.

We look ahead now to the 12th of December when study scores and ATAR results are released.   Good luck to all students!

Year 11 Exams

Well done to all Year 11 students who sat their Year 11 exams last week. It is a great opportunity for our students to consolidate their learning and get a feel for the examination program before they begin their Unit 3/4 studies in 2024.

Thank you to Ms Helen Ifandis for her efforts in organising the exams and on all Year 11 teachers for their hard work in writing and marking them!

Class of 2023 Graduation

Congratulations to the Class of 2023!

On Thursday 23rd November, we had our Year 12 Graduation where we celebrated the completion of thirteen years of study for our 2023 cohort.

It was an incredible night that honoured our graduates, their teachers, and their families. Hosted by our amazing captains/MCs Moni and Joe, it was a wonderful way to send off our graduating class.

Thank you to all the staff and student helpers who made the night possible!

To the Class of 2023: GOOD LUCK AND DREAM BIG! We will miss you!

Year 11 Chemistry excursion to VSSEC

On October 3rd, the Year 11 Chemistry class went on an excursion to the Victorian Space Science Education Centre (VSSEC) for the Chemical Analysis program. They had the chance to experience the fascinating world of Analytical Chemistry.

They got to use a wide array of instruments and techniques to find out the iron content in blood samples of Astronauts after prolonged space flights. Some of the techniques used were Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), UV-visible spectroscopy and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). It was a valuable experience as it enabled them to learn about the practical applications of these sophisticated techniques in real world scenarios.
