Visual Art

This week in Visual Art the senior students studied the amazing sculpture of the American Sculptor, Peter Voulkos. Peter was a bomber in World War Two and did pottery when he returned from the war, to get out of doing regular College. He spent his life learning and creating and eventually became one of the world’s most notable abstract ceramic sculptors.

A really fun part of our Art program is Wednesday lunch time Creative Club. We always have a group of keen artists, engaged in a variety of activities. Most people come to keep working on whatever they have started in class time. Here are a few examples of what our Creative Club participants chose to do today. All students are free to come along any old Wednesday lunchtime for Creative Club. We’re always here and it’s always on! :)
