Dear Parents and Carers
This week, I am pleased to introduce to parents and carers the Swap It healthy lunch box program. This program aligns with the healthy food choices lessons currently being taught across stages as part of the PDHPE curriculum.
Swap It Tips will also regularly appear on the Family Matters page of this newsletter. See this week's tips after reading the information below.
In the busyness of a parent's life, I hope the information below will assist you in balancing healthy food choices for your children.
The information below is also available to you as a PDF here.
For more information on healthy lunchboxes (including further ideas), visit www.swapit.net.au
For all things at St Joseph's, we give thanks.

How does my child receive a Principal's Award?
Class teachers nominate students for Blue Merit Awards which are presented at the weekly assembly. When five Blue Merit Awards have been received, students send them to the school office to be recorded and are then eligible for a Principal’s Award. When students attain their 4th Principal Award, they are awarded a Principal’s Medallion at an assembly. End of Term awards can be included as part of the 5 awards.
Acknowledgement to Country
