Maths

We have been working hard on our measurement skills within different areas such as Mass, Volume and Capacity.

We were measuring the length of some classroom objects and then using the formula of Volume, LxWxH to find the volume. 

This week we have started our learning on Chance. We have been conducting different experiments and discussing the 'Chance' of things occurring, using their knowledge of fractions and percentages. 

Education in Faith

Last week we shared Max, Mariana and Sam's whole school prayer on Kindness. 

We then had Aneeta, Miles and Jack's prayer on God's Creation . Thank you to Aneeta's mum Minimol who came to join us. 

You have all done a great job in creating and sharing your prayers with the school. 

Literacy

We have started our week with learning about Debates. We have been practising our persuasive writing again this term so are now putting that into action with some debates. The children have started to come up with their arguments and assigning roles within their groups. Next week we will get to present them in front of the class.

It is hard to believe it is already half way through the term. We look forward to what the second half of the term brings.
