Student Entrepreneurs Support Good Cause

This term Year 10 Humanities students have been developing their entrepreneurial skills by creating a small business. So far they have been busy creating products, working out break-even points and preparing for the Mareeba Markets on 11 November. 

All proceeds will be used to support the Vinnies Christmas Appeal.

We are Summer Johnston and Micala Costas, and we have created Trinity - a homemade toiletries/cosmetic bag business with the assistance from our Nonnas. It has been a delight learning to sew.

At the superb price of $9 our bags are affordable yet still made with the finest quality. Collaborating with Glisten Scrubs, for an extra $2 and you'll receive your choice of either a lip balm or body scrub.

BRING A TOUCH OF RUSTIC BEAUTY INTO YOUR HOME

Rustic Roots is your local market store for exquisite copper tree home decor. Based in the Mareeba Turf Club Markets, we take pride in handcrafting stunning and unique copper bonsai trees and ornaments that bring a touch of nature's beauty into your home. Using ethically sourced wire and marble from local mines, our team meticulously crafted a variety of copper decor for sale on the 11th of November 7am - 12pm.

We sell copper bonsai trees and Christmas trees of different sizes and styles, ranging from $10 to $15 for small trees and $20 to $35 for larger trees. We also offer small copper tree keyring attachments for just $3. All proceeds go towards the 2023 Vinnies Christmas Appeal.
