Year 2 Measurement

Students in 2HK have been measuring mass and capacity through hands-on experiences. 

First, students ventured to the sandpit with a variety of measuring jugs and estimated the capacity of a variety of different containers. 

Then, students went to the Science Lab and made their own scales using coathangers. They used these scales to determine which objects had the least mass. 

They learnt the importance of measuring objects accurately and recording their observations. It was wonderful to see the students working cooperatively with each other.
