Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Students and Staff,
Welcome back to Term 3! I hope everyone had a restful break. We’re excited to begin another busy and productive term full of learning and special events.
Today, we extend our congratulations to all our Year 3 and Year 5 students who will be receiving their NAPLAN results. Well done on your outstanding efforts—your achievements are something to be very proud of. These results reflect not only the hard work of our students but also the support from families and the dedication of our teaching staff. Congratulations to all involved!
This week, we had the pleasure of celebrating NAIDOC Week, a time to honour and learn about the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. A special highlight was a dynamic and inspiring performance by Ganga Giri, who captivated students and staff alike. We’d also like to extend a warm thank you to Brett Barnett, who generously donated boomerangs for all students to decorate—what a wonderful way to combine art, culture and creativity.
A quick reminder to all families that next Friday, 1st August, is a Curriculum Day. Students are not required at school on this day, as staff will be participating in professional learning to further enhance teaching and learning across the school.
We look forward to another fantastic term ahead. Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Joanna Uzunovski
Principal
