Bachelor of Accounting at UTS ($55,000 across 3 years)
Bachelor of Accounting | University of Technology Sydney (uts.edu.au)
The Bachelor of Accounting is a cooperative education program in accounting. It is an intensive course offered in conjunction with major employers. Students complete a compulsory first major in accounting and receive a scholarship and full-time work training.
This course is a specialist degree for high-achieving students who view an accounting career as an excellent foundation for future business leaders. All students in the course receive a scholarship of up to $54,000 over three years and a year of full-time industry experience and are encouraged to complete a second major or sub-major in another business discipline. Historically the course has a graduate employment rate greater than 95 per cent.
There is no fixed ATAR requirement for the Bachelor of Accounting. Like all of our selection criteria, the better your score for academic ability the better your chances of being selected. Each year we take in students with ATARs ranging from 90 to 100, balancing criteria against one another so that if you excel particularly in another area it can compensate for a lower academic score, and vice versa.

Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) Co-operative Scholarship Program at UTS ($49,500 across 3 years)
Applications for 2025 will be open in May 2025 and close on 7 September 2025.
This is a cooperative education scholarship program in computer information systems, developed by UTS in cooperation with a group of leading organisations. It differs from other cooperative education courses in that, during the industry-based sessions, students follow a structured program designed jointly by UTS and the employer group, including formal coursework delivered by industry.
Successful students generally achieve a Selection Rank of 88–99.95; however, your ATAR is just one component of your application.
The interview is your chance to show us your passion for technology. We also want to see your communication and interpersonal skills and your desire to be a leader in your field. We balance our selection criteria against one another. So, if you’ve got a lower ATAR (say, 85 or 86), wow us in the interview and you could still be in with a chance.
There are a limited number of places available in this course according to the number of industry sponsors each year. If selected for this course, students receive a total scholarship of around $49,500 for the duration of the course.
This intensive course includes two six-month industry-based sessions with different industry sponsors. Industry sponsors are heavily involved in the curriculum design to ensure graduates are not only highly qualified but also have the knowledge and skills relevant to the needs of industry.
