Robyn Speck

Hello! I'm Robyn, and I joined the Wellbeing Team here at CPS last term. It’s been wonderful becoming part of the community here that values responsibility, kindness, and resilience.

I am involved in running SEL sessions with small groups of students from Foundation to Year 6, where we build on our resilience, emotional literacy, self-regulation, being a supporting and welcoming friend, and how we can work together for success in our goals.

It’s been fantastic getting to know so many of our wonderful students, whether in my groups or in the recess and lunch break club room. I'm passionate about supporting our students' growth and collaborating with families to ensure every child thrives.

Outside of work, I love running, baking and exploring around Australia, but during winter you’ll find me snuggled up with my cat, Lily.

PE Lunch Club

This week during the PE Lunch Club, the gym was opened for students to enjoy an exciting and energetic lunchtime session, giving them the chance to have fun with friends while playing tennis. Students loved rallying, practising their shots, and challenging each other in friendly matches, all while developing their skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Even Miss. Mendoza and Miss. Y joined in the fun, showing off their tennis skills and adding to the laughter and excitement. The session encouraged students to stay active during lunch, build positive connections with their peers, and enjoy the game of tennis in a fun, social setting.
