BE BOLD, BE KIND, SPEAK UP!
Bullying No Way - National Week of Action
11 to 15 August, 2025
Bullying No Way Week is a nationwide initiative in Australia aimed at preventing bullying in schools. From 11 to 15 August 2025, schools across the country—including government, Catholic, and independent schools—will come together to promote kindness, respect, and inclusion.
The theme for this year is "Be Bold. Be Kind. Speak Up." It encourages students to take a stand against bullying by being courageous, showing kindness, and speaking out when they witness bullying behaviour. Parents, teachers, and the wider community also play a vital role in supporting our young people to create safe and supportive environments.
Next week provides an opportunity for our students to reinforce our commitment to a bully-free environment and to engage in activities that promote positive behaviour and mutual respect.
The children at Corpus Christi will be focusing on ways to 'Be bold. Be kind. Speak up.'
Through their Social Emotional curriculum, children will identify that it takes courage to speak up and bring about change. They will also look at appropriate ways to support their peers, be kind and call out inappropriate behaviours. Students will come to understand the correct definition of bullying, challenge stereotypes, embrace diversity and understand the meaning of empathy.
At Corpus Christi, Bullying is everyone’s responsibility
Preventing bullying takes all of us—students, parents, teachers, and the wider community.
Our students are encouraged to be bold, act with kindness, and take a stand.
As parents and educators it is our role to guide and support young people, helping them learn positive and respectful behaviour.
At Corpus Christi, we strive to create a place where everyone feels they belong, differences are celebrated, and bullying is simply not tolerated.
This Bullying No Way Week (11–15 August 2025) we invite all community members to embrace the theme:
“Be bold. Be kind. Speak up.”
