Celebrating Our GHS Alumni: Class of '66 Reunion Tribute
Earlier this year, John and Peter Glazebrook, twin brothers and proud members of the Class of 1966, hosted a heartfelt thank you lunch in honour of two much-loved former staff members, Mr Tom McGovern and Mrs Geraldine McGovern.
John and Peter, like many of their classmates, fondly remember Mr McGovern’s guidance in maths and science and the positive impact both teachers had during their years at GHS.
After graduating from The Gap State High School, the brothers pursued careers in veterinary science, health science, environmental science, and law. Their recent tribute was not only a celebration of lifelong learning but also a testament to the lasting legacy of dedicated educators in shaping future generations.
Thank you to the Glazebrook brothers for sharing this memorable moment with our school community.
