Music Corner

Our first band session for the term may have been small, but it was a delight to have most students make it the whole way through Advance Australia Fair and We Will Rock You. In our lessons, we are starting on a new Accent on Achievement Piece, focusing on slurring. Band students are also reminded to practise the concert B flat scale at the top of page 37. 

As students become confident playing the national anthem, they are encouraged to come to school prepared to accompany the school at our Monday morning flagpole assembly. This is a self-nominated activity. On arrival at school, students must approach Mrs Thomsen to access music stands and anything else required.
