Season of Easter: Alleluia, He is Risen! The Foundation of Hope!
Christ is risen! Our sorrow about Jesus’ suffering and death is now replaced by JOY and HOPE with the celebration of Christ’s resurrection at Easter. We exclaim the word, Alleluia, which means ‘Praise the Lord!’.
As we journey through the joyful season of Easter, we are reminded of the powerful message at its heart: HOPE. Easter is not just a single day of celebration—it is a season that extends for 50 days, inviting us to reflect on the meaning of the Resurrection and how it transforms our lives.
At Easter, we celebrate the risen Christ, whose victory over death brings the ultimate message of HOPE to the world. In a time when life can often feel uncertain or challenging, the Resurrection reassures us that light overcomes darkness, life triumphs over death, and love conquers fear. It reminds us that no matter what we face, we are never alone.
This year, our celebration of Easter is made even more meaningful as we look ahead to the Jubilee Year of Hope in 2025, a special moment in the life of the Church when we are called to reflect on our shared faith, renew our relationship with God, and rekindle hope in a world that deeply needs it.
Just as the Resurrection brings light after darkness, the Jubilee calls us to be witnesses of hope—in our families, in our school, and in our wider communities. Pope Francis has encouraged us to prepare our hearts by focusing on prayer, reconciliation, and acts of service. In doing so, we can become messengers of Easter hope, bringing encouragement and peace to those around us. Let us carry the spirit of Easter forward—by showing kindness, helping those in need, and believing in the goodness that lies ahead. As spring brings new life to the world around us, may our hearts also be renewed with joy and faith.
Let us walk together, towards the Jubilee Year of 2025, to embrace hope—hope in ourselves, in each other, and in a future filled with possibility!

Sacrament of Eucharist
Our students in Year 4 have begun focussing on their faith development as they prepare for the Sacrament of First Eucharist.
Last week, families should have recieved a pack with all relevent information in regards to Sacramental preparations and celebration information. This includes attending at least 2 Parish Masses in preparation to their Sacrament of Eucharist.
As part of their learning, we invite our Eucharist candidates and their families to our Faith formation night on Wednesday 21st May, 2025 at 7pm.
