SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
đBook Weekđ
Â
Book Week is back and quickly approaching! This year, Book Week will be celebrated from Monday 19th until Friday 23rd of August (Week 6) and the theme is âReading is Magicâ.
We will be holding a Book Parade on Tuesday 20th August, and we would love for students to come to school dressed up as a character inspired by their favourite book.
Â
This will take place from 9:10 am until approximately 10:00 am. Families are invited to attend the parade and celebrate this special school event.
Â
It would be wonderful if the students could bring to school the book that has inspired their costume to share with their classmates. Throughout the week there will be various Book Week activities and the students will explore some of the shortlisted book within their Art lessons.
Â
Please note that this is not a fundraising activity. It is simply a chance for our school community to celebrate the magic of reading! We canât wait to see all your fantastic costumes!Â
đ°ART ROOM SUPPLIESđ°
The art room is in need of spare magazines for upcoming projects. If you have any old magazines at home that youâre willing to donate, please drop them off at the school office, or to Deb Fisher in the art room.Â

We have quite a few children who are allergic to a range of products, especially ânut products'.Â

We ask for your support and co-operation in avoiding nut products in your childâs lunch box.
Â
In this way we can minimise the risk to these children who suffer life-threatening reactions.
