National Consistency Collection of Data (NCCD)
Our classroom teachers are currently recording and reviewing information for students with a disability. All schools in Australia collect data regarding the adjustments made to enable diverse learners to access learning on the same basis as other students. This is known as the National Consistency Collection of Data. At GSPS, students included in this data collection are those that receive ongoing adjustments at school due to a disability.
More information can be accessed from the following site.

Carbal will be returning to our campus next week to retest some of our student's hearing. If you would like an initial hearing screener completed for your child, please contact the school office.
Cultural Committee
In Week 10 of Term Two we held our annual NAIDOC Day Celebration. Local community worked alongside us to provide a range of fabulous activities to enjoy throughout the day, celebrating this year's theme, "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud!
Across the day the children worked with Bigambul artist, Aunty Cheryl Moggs to create the design for our artwork which we will be painted in Week 3. They participated in a session with Bigambul/Manmandanji author/ illustrator/animator and mixed media artist Dub Leffler and spent a session having fun with activities such as making and eating Johnny Cakes with community, Curry Corner, Traditional Indigenous Games with the Clontarf boys, Face Painting with Mirii Dreamers and range of craft activities. We would like to say a big thank you to our amazing First Nations communities, Goondiwindi QPS, the Clontarf Boys, Mirii Dreamers and high school staff as well as our own staff for their yummy curry making. All your support made it a very special day.
