News from our Principal..

...Mrs Clarke...

The Young MacIntyre Writers Competition promotes and encourages originality and creativity in children’s writing.  This year we celebrate 30 years of Young Writers and we are excited to be participating in the Mini Writing Fest this week at school, with well known visiting authors working with some of our students. As part of this event we will also be hosting some of our surrounding schools so that they may be a part of the Writing Festival also.  We would like to acknowledge and thank the dedicated Young MacIntyre Writers committee for organising this event for the Goondiwindi, and surrounding schools.

Families have received an email today to participate in the annual School Opinion Survey, all state schools participate in this survey, however it is voluntary. I would encourage our families to take the time to complete the survey so that we are able to better understand what we do well and to develop the school's next steps along our improvement journey.  Staff and some students also have the opportunity to participate in the survey.

2025 enrolments are now open for all year levels. Please collect an Enrolment Pack from the office, the staff will be happy to assist you with any questions or queries that you may have.  Please book in for your child's Principal Chat by contacting Lisa or Anna in the office.

We have had many new enrolments this term and I would like to welcome all the new children and families to GSPS.
