Mathematics

On 15th August, eight of our Year 7 students participated in the Maths Games Day 2024, run by The Mathematical Association of Victoria, competing in a series of challenging math problems designed to promote problem-solving, collaboration and critical thinking. The event consisted of teams of up to four students from Year 7 and 8, offering an exciting opportunity for our students to showcase their mathematical abilities in a fun and inclusive environment.

Our students — Alex M., Brodie D., Ravyn B., Charlotte D., Alanna L., Phoebe L., Parker N., and Harrison R. — demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the competition, including one of our teams finishing in third place!
