Master Chef’s on the Trangia Stove 

 

Sometimes it can be challenging to cook a healthy meal on a cooker at home; our students managed to create some excellent masterpieces on the Trangia stoves. Meals included meatballs and pasta, homemade sushi, ragu pasta, eggy bread with berries, tacos and special fried rice and all tasted just fine!    Students were also assessed on their organisation of their cooking space, their cleaning up and the level of packaging rubbish – all key aspects to consider when camping in remote areas. 

 

A wonderful afternoon where the students worked and supported each other, they were able to reflect and take away many valuable points from the experience.
