RSC Short Course Meet-Enter now!

Ringwood Swimming Club Short Course Meet – 4th August @ Aquanation –ALL SWIMMERS PLEASE ENTER! 

Entries close on Monday, 29th July @ 9pm or earlier if capacity is reached earlier

We are getting excited to host swimming clubs from across Melbourne at our annual short course meet next Sunday, 4th August. 

The morning session (12yo/under + open events) is 97% full and our afternoon session (13yo/over + open events) is 51% full. 

We currently have 72 RSC swimmers entered, which is amazing! We would love to have as many RSC swimmers as possible so be sure to get your entries in soon. 

Not sure what events to enter? No problem – just send your coach an email or get in touch with Lesley who will put you in touch with a coach to help! This meet is great for all swimmers in all squads to participate in, whether your new to the club or have been around for a while and our coaches will be there on the day to support the swimmers in all their races. There is a great atmosphere and lots of team camaraderie as well as raffles and a sausage sizzle. We will be asking everyone to lend a hand at the meet, by timekeeping or helping with other tasks essential to running a meet of this size. This is one of RSCs annual 4 fundraising events and we need as many members to help out on the day as possible.

Timekeeping and volunteer rosters will be posted soon so keep an eye out for that. Don’t worry if you’ve never done timekeeping before – it’s not hard and there will be someone there to explain what to do. You will be in teams of 3 so there will always be someone who has done it before who can help out. Timekeeping is actually the best seat in the house, and you will be provided with snacks and refreshments throughout your shift!
