Dear Parents,

We will be hosting our Scholastic Book Fair in Week 3. The Book Fair gives families an opportunity to purchase new books to add to their home libraries. In addition to providing a huge array of popular titles, sales from the Book Fair generates credit for our school which we can then use to purchase more books and learning resources for our library and classrooms.

Next Friday (Week 2), students will be given the opportunity to browse the Book Fair and create a 'wishlist' of titles they're interested in purchasing. There's no obligation to buy, however should you wish to purchase, the Book Fair will be set up in the library for the whole of Week 3 (July 29th - August 2nd) so feel free to come in with you child, before or after school to have a browse and make a purchase (8:30 - 8:45 & 3:30 - 3:45). Card transactions are preferred however cash will be accepted. Alternatively, a QR code will be sent home before Week 3 whereby you can add money for your child to spend, like a voucher, if preferred.

Please remind your child to bring a cloth library bag to keep borrowed books clean and safe.

We’ve got lots of new titles waiting to hit the shelves and I’m always grateful for help with book covering. If you’re able to spare some time to take a small pile home (contact supplied), please send me an email or come by the library or office on a Thursday or Friday morning before/after school.
