Performing Arts Highlights! 

Year Prep Communities 

Students have started the term with an Introduction to Performing Arts: Dance, Music, Drama. They have participated in activities that encourage singing, dancing and acting. 

Students have explored Dance from different cultures, collaborating with each other to create and express their own dance ideas.

Year 1/2 Communities 

Students have started the term with a revision of Performing Arts: Dance, Music, Drama. They have developed their understanding of what it means to be a good audience member and performer. Students have explored different dance styles and collaborated with each either to improvise and choreograph their own short sequence of movements.

Choir 

The Choir performed at Assembly, 'Just Sing!' from the hit movie 'Trolls'. It was a great success with fantastic feedback from staff and students. The Choir will be working towards presenting a song to farewell the Year 6's as well as a Christmas Song for the last Assembly next term.
