We could not have asked for a more perfect day for our EPS Athletics Carnival.

JUNIOR ATHLETICS

Our P-2 students had a fantastic time competing in 8 events throughout the day. These events are intended to be similar to real athletics events and introduce students to competition in a safe and fun environment. The events were sack race, egg and spoon race, 50m sprint, mini hurdles, bean bag distance throws, accuracy throws, long jump and an obstacle course.

SENIOR ATHLETICS

On a frosty morning, the students of Essendon Primary School traveled to the Aberfeldie Athletics Track for a day filled with excitement and competition at the annual Athletics Carnival. As the sun emerged, illuminating the track, students eagerly participated in a variety of events, all striving to earn points for their respective houses. The day was marked by remarkable sportsmanship, with every student putting in tremendous effort and displaying unwavering determination. The vibrant house colours and creative dress-ups added to the festive atmosphere, making the carnival a memorable event for all.
