Grades 3 & 4
As part of our successful grant in the 'Trees for School's program students have been learning about green spaces and plants. We have been investigating the life cycle of plants and planting our new trees on the school grounds.
Next week, we will focus on a biodiversity audit of our school grounds and why this is important to enhance our local ecosystems.
Grades 1 & 2
Grades 1 & 2 students have been learning about the push and pull forces and participated in a variety of activities such as arcade ball games, making pasta and spinning the bucket experiments. We could identify the effects of different forces and how they can also change the shape of some objects.
Grades 5 & 6
In grades 5 & 6 we have been very busy finishing off our Space unit and completed a variety of models, diagrams, and digital programs to share with our Grade 3 and 4 students. We are excited to teach the younger students about space and beyond.
