Japanese News Week 3

We've had a busy and productive start of the term! The Foundation and the Year 1/2 students have been learning the words of family members. They learnt the family words with special actions to go with them, e.g. Otosan is tall, with the gesture of dad being tall. The foundation students sang family finger song with the family finger puppets they made. The Year 1/2 students done a variety of activities to support them learn the family words, e.g. writing, drawing, matching, cut & paste and games. The Year 3/4 students have been learning the words of Australian icons in Japanese, such as Koala, Vegemite, Uluru and AFL. The Year 5/6 students have been learning the names of countries and nationalities in Japanese.
