Australian students in years 3-12 are encouraged to design, build and submit an original educational video game that includes science, technology, engineering and mathematics [STEM] content. This year we want you to build a game that incorporates one or more aspects of ‘stars’.
Each year, the winning games are featured in an interactive display at PAX Aus.
National History Challenge
Value: Up to $1,000 AUD cash prize + travel to Canberra
Closing date: August 23, 2024
The National History Challenge encourages students to use research and inquiry-based learning to discover more about the past. This year’s theme is “Crisis and Response” and prompts students to investigate their community, explore their own and their family’s past, and consider ideas throughout history. The NHC encourages the use of primary and secondary sources and offers a variety of presentation styles.
