Victorian State School Spectacular

On Wednesday 24th July, our Spectacular choir headed to Melbourne Town Hall for their first full day rehearsal, along with over 1,000 students from other government schools across the state who altogether make up the Mass Choir. I liked getting to know everyone in the choir better. - Claudia

There was never a dull moment and it was really nice to spend time all together. - Evie

I loved the rehearsal because I got to sing with my friends and hear other people sing. - Mandipa

My favourite part was when all the people in part one and part two sang together to harmonise because it sounded really nice. - Jenson

We had a lot of cool warm ups where we warmed up our voices, like a bubble gum one where we blew up a big bubble! And the day was exhausting! - Phoebe

We learned how to make milkshakes and my sandwich got stood on quite a bit! - Xavier (in reference to unique vocal and body warm ups)

I liked singing all together with the part two people because the songs felt more complete and fuller. - Josiah

I liked how everyone was so friendly and kind to each other and it made the day really nice. - Lola

I liked when we sang loud and it rang out in the hall like an echo! - Lachlan

It was cool how the Victorian College for the Deaf students came on stage to show us the signs. - Liv

It was interactive with lots of games. - Isla

Tickets for 2024 Victorian State School Spectacular are selling fast, with over half of the tickets already sold on the first day of ticket sales!

RNPS students will be performing in both the 1pm and 6:30pm performances at John Cain Arena on Saturday 14th September. It is suggested that the most suitable view of RNPS students in the Mass Choir will be from Sections 9, 10, 31, 32, 33, 56, 57 or 58. These sections should be visible on the Ticketek seating map when patrons are making an online purchase.
