Balaclava District Schools Swimming Competition

At last week's Balaclava District Schools Swimming Competition, it was wonderful to see our Junior School students take to the pool like fish to water. A big thank you to all students for participating and for cheering everyone on!

House Swimming Carnival

On Friday 23 Feb, we were lucky to have perfect summer weather for our 2024 House Swimming Carnival. The entire Senior School ventured to GESAC for what turned out to be a fabulous day!

The day was awash with colour and noise as the students cheered non-stop for their team and friends. Students enjoyed the high fashions showcased by the Year 12s, as well as the sensational House Cheers competition. Congratulations to Burman House on their victory in House Cheers!

The House swimming results were close, with Barrett taking out the overall aggregate by only ONE point to Fysh! Amazing! A huge congratulations to all swimmers who represented their House on the day. You all gave a mighty effort.

Well done to the House Leaders for their hard work in putting the teams together. They were ably backed-up by the House Deans, Jacquie Goldenberg, Emily Austin, Maree Locco and John Knap, who tirelessly supported their teams all day. A special mention to all the senior staff for making the day run swimmingly.
