Introducing Our New Staff

Greg Bond

I am Greg Bond, and I am the new PE & Humanities teacher in Senior School. I grew up in Warrnambool and I have just recently moved back from Queensland, where I studied my teaching degree. I am a passionate sports fan, with AFL, cricket and basketball being my favourite sports. I look forward to meeting the King's College community and getting to know the students I have been blessed to teach.

Sarah Bond

Hi, my name is Sarah Bond and I feel so blessed to have been given the privilege to help students in my role as learning support at King's College. I previously worked in Queensland as a teacher aide at a Christian school and am very excited to bring my skills and passions to King's College. A little bit about myself, I LOVE dancing and used to be a full time dancer in Brisbane. I also have a huge passion for sport and fitness. I am looking forward to meeting many new faces and sharing my passion for learning and faith within the school community.

Ang Hales

Hello King's community! I am so happy to be here at King's this year as I enter my 25th year of teaching. I am equally happy to be teaching Year 3 this year, after being in the secondary system for the last three years and deciding I miss the little people a bit too much! I have taught in Melbourne for 8 years and then 11 years in Western Australia, including 5 years in the Pilbara, before moving back home to Warrnambool where my husband and I both grew up, 5 years ago. Last year, I worked for Teach for Australia and coached beginning teachers, however I found a very strong desire to go back to the classroom and thus I feel blessed to be joining this beautiful school. Chris and I celebrate 30 years together this year and share two beautiful boys - Josh is 18 and finished Year 12 last year, and our long awaited little boy is Jack, who is going into Prep this year at King's College and will be 6 years old in July. I look forward to meeting everyone and in particular the parents of my Year 3's.

Emily Hunter

I'm so excited to be back teaching at King's after 5 years being at home running around after my two little girls! I taught at King's from 2015 - 2018 and have also taught at Christian schools in Melbourne and overseas in India. I was also a King's student myself and am now a King's parent so I feel like I've worn a lot of different hats over the years! This year, I will be teaching two days a week in the Year 4 classroom and am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and having the opportunity to partner with families as they raise and guide their children. When I'm not here at King's I love to go camping with my family and my happy place is sitting around a campfire with a hot cuppa and a good book.

Stephanie Kosh

My name is Stephanie Kosh and I am looking forward to teaching in the Kinder Possum Group and Junior Gideon Class this year! I recently moved to Warrnambool with my family of 7 from remote NT where I have lived and taught for the past nine years. I love teaching in the Early Years and have a passion for messy play, outdoors/bush kinder, Indigenous perspectives and developmental play experiences. I have also completed further studies in Creative Play Therapies and working with students with diverse needs. When I get a spare moment I love to do gardening, head to the beach or spend time with family. I am excited for 2024 at King’s College!

Tom Leach

Hi everyone, my name is Tom Leach and it's great to be back on the King's grounds after graduating from here in 2005. I have joined the Learning Support and Chaplaincy teams. At home I have Emma (wife), Harrison (9), Cooper (5) and our dog Lottie. When we're not at home we love to get away in our caravan, attend Gateway Church, hang out with friends and play/watch any sport we can.

Amy Newton

Hi! My name is Amy. My husband Sam and our four children (Benjamin, Elliana, Olivia & Jack - who also attend King’s College!) live on a dairy farm near Port Campbell. My interests include planning & organising events, travel, gardening, spending time with my family & friends and serving in my Church. I have the privilege of serving on the King’s College PTFA and this year I am so excited to serve in my new role as a Learning Support Assistant in Junior School!

Geraldine Theron

My name is Geraldine Theron and I was appointed as Finance Officer at King's College at the beginning of the year. I have a degree in Financial Accounting and numerous other finance related qualifications, so finance has always been part of me. I enjoy spending time with my family, having fun outdoors and love living so close to the ocean.

PTV Approved Student ID Cards

This year, Senior students will be issued Public Transport Victoria (PTV) Approved Student ID Cards. As per PTV guidelines, this will enable students to use their School ID to access concession travel on public transport, saving time and money, as students will no longer need to arrange, pay for and carry the dedicated PTV School ID to travel on student passes or concession rates. Student ID cards will be distributed in the next few weeks.

Uniform Reminder

A reminder to parents to please clearly label your child's clothing with their name. In particular their hats, school jumpers, blazers and sport jumpers. There are currently several unlabled school coats in lost property.
