Mrs Richards...

It is always an honour to welcome our new student leaders at the beginning of each year.  They take their roles very seriously and do not take lightly the honour that has been bestowed upon them.  It is our great pleasure to introduce:

Mackenzie - School Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I am responsible and hard working. I try to be kind to everyone and love to have a laugh.

• In 2024 I am most looking forward to fulfilling my role and school captain, leading the school in assembly and being a great role model. I am also looking forward to some other special Grade 6 privileges such as inter school sport and buddies. 
• My favourite movie is The Hunger Games
• I would eat Mexican food every day if I could but I will never eat sandwiches.
• I would really like to be a teacher.
• The person I admire most is Taylor Swift. She is an amazing performer and is such a fantastic role model for others.

Ben - School Captain

• In 2024 I am most looking forward to Market Day. 
• My favourite movie is Wonka.
• I would eat pizza every day if I could but I will never eat pumpkin.
• I would really like to be an architect.

Mila - Vice School Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I am a supportive and kind person to all my peers. 
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to Grade 6 camp and being a good captain for our school.
• My favourite movie is Mission Impossible. 
• I would eat chocolate every day if I could but I will never eat spicy food.
• The people I admire most are my mum and dad for always being kind and supportive, for being considerate people and for being there for me.

Henry - Vice School Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I try to show all six values all the time.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to camp, buddies and the Beach program. 
• My favourite movie is Top Gun- Maverick.
• I would eat donuts, sushi and hotdogs every day if I could but I will never eat eggplant.
• I would really like to be a vet or a pilot.
• The person I admire most is my friend Sonny. He is in a wheelchair, and he loves tennis.  He has accomplished his dream as he is going to be an Australian Open Ballboy.  He is very happy, and he is beginning to walk again.

Saana - Jacaranda House Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I represent all the super six values and the teachers and students thought I would represent Jacaranda well. 

• In 2024 I am most looking forward to all the opportunities and exciting activities that are going to come. 
• My favourite movie is Matilda (the original!)
• I would eat a Big Mac every day if I could but I will never eat oysters.
• I would really like to be a lawyer.
• The person I admire most is my mum. She does so much for me and tries her best to make us happy.

Jude - Jacaranda House Captain

• In 2024 I am most looking forward to interschool sport and camp.
• My favourite movie is Shrek. 
• I would eat steak every day if I could but I will never eat Brussel sprouts.
• I would really like to be a soccer player.
• The person I admire most is Marcus Rashford because he is my favourite soccer player, and he donates to charity.

Sophia - Jacaranda Vice Captain

• I believe that I was given this position my presentation was good and the voters thought that I was worthy.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to leading my house with the other leaders and all the other things Grade 6 has to offer.
• My favourite movie is Night at the Museum. 
• I would eat Carrot Cake every day if I could but I will never eat blue cheese.
• I would really like to be a journalist.
• The person I admire most is JK Rowling because she started off with so little but now she is so successful.

Lachlan - Jacaranda Vice Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I show great leadership and consider other people’s opinions.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward finishing primary school.
• My favourite movie is Deadpool. 
• I would eat a plain bowl of rice every day if I could but I will never eat mushrooms.
• I would really like to be an Olympic athlete.
• The person I admire most is Michael Jordan. He is inspirational because of his success. 

Seb - Banksia  Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I listen to the opinions of others.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to Grade 6 camp. 
• My favourite movie is Penguins of Madagascar.
• I would eat sushi every day if I could but I will never eat caviar fish eggs.
• I would really like to be a smart person.
• The person I admire most is TTT Pig because in the VR game that I play he is number 1 in the world and he inspires me when I watch him play. 

Willow - Banksia Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I love working as a team and always try to ensure everyone is happy with the decision and has input.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to cheering on and leading Banksia to (hopefully) many wins.
• My favourite movie is Cool Runnings. 
• I would eat Frozen yoghurt every day if I could but I will never eat chocolate.
• I would really like to be a teacher or some sort of scientist.
• The person I admire most is my older sister Scarlett because she is always there for me and supports me every day.

Ela - Banksia Vice Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I gave a fun and persuasive speech.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to Grade 6 camp.
• I would eat Spaghetti every day if I could, but I will never eat broccoli. 
• I would really like to be a lawyer.
• The person I admire most is my mum because she is so sweet, kind and caring. 

Samuel - Waratah Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I like sports a lot and I am a very supportive Waratahrian.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to leading all the Waratahrians to greatness as well as school camp and Grade 6 camp.
• My favourite movie is Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. 
• I would eat sushi every day if I could but I will never eat French truffle snails smothered in a crunchy blue sauce with an oyster filling.
• I would really like to be Prime Minister.
• The person I admire most is Usain Bolt. He is a very persistent person. He always follows his dreams in athletics and nothing, not even a false start at the Olympics, can stop him.

Eden - Waratah House Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I spoke about what I believed in and how I felt about things.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to speaking at assembly, setting an example and playing inter school sport. 
• My favourite movie is My Life with the Walter Boys. 
• I would eat Hawaiian Pizza (yes pineapple belongs on pizza!)  every day if I could but I will never eat stewed apples. 
• I would really like to be a pro iron woman.
• The person I admire most is Courtney Hancock, professional Iron Woman.  She is an awesome athlete and has won many events such as the Coolangatta Gold. She doesn’t always win so it makes her more determined to to keep training harder. I also like the ribbon she wears in her hair. 

Nathan- Waratah Vice Captain

• In 2024 I am most looking forward to School camp and assemblies.
• My favourite movie is I am Groot.
• I would eat nachos every day if I could, but I will never eat eggplant. 
• I would really like to be a firefighter.
• The person I admire most is Roger Federer because he is a famous tennis player. 

Georgia - Waratah Vice Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I demonstrate all super six values and I represent my house well.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to speaking at assembly, interschool sport and buddies.
• I would eat GYG every day if I could but I will never eat anything spicy. 
• I would really like to be a sportsperson.
• The person I admire most is Emma McKeon because she is amazing. 

Olivia – Wattle Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I show the super six values and I represent my house well. 
• In 2024 I am most looking forward speaking at assemblies, buddies and sport.
• I would eat McDonalds every day if I could but I will never eat anything spicy. 
• I would really like to be an actress.
• The person I admire most is my mum because she is kind and funny.

Joshua - Wattle Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I am responsible nice.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to leading Wattle house. 
• My favorite movie is Super Mario Bros.
• I would eat chips every day if I could but I will never eat bitter melon.
• I would really like to be a Youtuber.
• The people I admire most are my parents because they raised me and took ok care of me 😊 

Eden - Wattle Vice Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I am funny, kind and trustworthy.
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to buddies and reading out Star of the Week at assembly.
• My favourite movie is The Greatest Showman. 
• I would eat tacos every day if I could but I will never eat banana or pumpkin.
• I would really like to be a kid’s speech pathologist.
• The person I admire most is Taylor Swift. I love her music.

Archie - Wattle Vice Captain

• I believe that I was given this position as I am very responsible. 
• In 2024 I am most looking forward to presenting at assembly. 
• My favourite movie is The Bee Movie.
• I would eat pancakes every day if I could but I will never eat tomatoes.
• The people I admire most are my parents they are special.
