Help Return and Earn at Holy Family 

Thanks to our wonderful P&F our school has access to one Return and Earn bin that we can use to raise money for our Green Team and other resources in 2024. 

Our Green Team this year is aiming to increase our awareness of this recycling and will be collecting bottles each Thursday morning at Drive Through. 

Please put your cans etc in a paper or bag (that you can then take home). 

Please be ready each Thursday morning for your child to hand their bag to the Green Team member or teacher. Thank you for your help! 

 2024 Green Team 

We are delighted to welcome our new 2024 Green Team. This team is led by our fantastic Year Six Leaders, Fraser and Annabelle 

All students 1-6 were invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday to understand the initiatives and options for this year. 

As a group we decided on our top five and chose who will begin this term. We are hoping to rotate the groups every five weeks. 

Vegie Growers- will maintain our Vegie Pods at the back of the school  

Return and Earn- will collect items for the bin each Thursday at drive through  

Paper Recyclers- will help Mrs Edwards each Friday lunchtime to collect all paper products from the classroom and admin area to place in the paper recycle bin 

Weeding and Cleaning Team- will ensure that the playground and area directly outside is free from weeds and gardening issues 

Chinese Garden- this group will help create and maintain a new Chinese Garden areanear the Vegie Pods - If you have anything to contribute to this garden e.g. fountain or architecture we would be very grateful! 

Reminder About School Attendance

Beginning a school year is a great chance to get into good habits and arriving at school on time is an important habit for your child to continue. 

Arriving late to school can be unsettling for your child and is disruptive for our school office, teachers and other students. 

Unexpected incidents may occur, and we completely understand if your child is occasionally late. If this happens then please safely park your car and sign your child into school at the office.
