Year 12 Induction Ceremony
We held our Year 12 Induction Ceremony on Wednesday 14th February. It was an inspirational event filled with wisdom, motivation, and a reminder of what truly matters. Our students were presented with Year 12 badges, and our school leaders recited and signed the student leadership pledge.
In her opening address, Assistant Principal 11 & 12, Sharon Eppingstall encouraged students to think about their goals, aspirations and the type of person they want to become and be remembered for in their final year and the importance of supporting each other as “together we achieve more”
Principal Stephan Fields delivered a powerful message about the importance of each and every student. He emphasised giving your all this year, looking back at graduation with no regrets and knowing that together we can achieve so much more.
We were honoured to have Sam Carr from the Class of 2016 as our guest speaker. Sam reminded us to all find what we truly love, to pursue it with unwavering effort and have the courage to try something different.
Our 2023 Dux, Sarah Fellows, spoke about being organised, managing time effectively and seizing every opportunity. She encouraged the cohort to seek feedback, ask for guidance and help, and emphasised the significance of maintaining friendships and taking care of their mental health.
We look forward to our school leaders embracing 2024 with courage, determination, and a commitment to giving it their all. Together, we will make it a year of growth, achievement and unforgettable memories.
