Andrew Nunns School of Music
Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
Welcome back to ENPS, I hope you are all well and had a great holiday break. Here we go with another fabulous year of musical adventures. Hard copy enrolment forms were handed out last Thursday to all students, followed by a Compass post on Monday. Both Word and PDF copies are also attached below.
This is my 20th year teaching music at ENPS. When I first started I had 12 guitar students and 12 drum students for the morning session only. Now I have approx 200+ enrolled over four days. I am very proud of the success of the music program as I am very passionate about music and I love passing on my knowledge, as do Gary and Lisette.
Here are some resounding, inspiring and beautiful words of wisdom from The Cruel Sea bassist Ken Gormley.
“If I could give one piece of advice to any kid or young person or anybody it would be ~ Learn to play a musical instrument and you’ll never walk alone. These are skills you will never unlearn. You don’t have to be great but you can be!!! You don’t have to be successful but you can be!!! You don’t even have to know what you’re doing. It really doesn’t matter. You just have to find the sound of your soul. And when you do, you can sing and play songs to your soul. And you will never, ever be truly lonely.” ✨🎸
Brilliant words I feel. 🙏
If any further information is required about enrolment please email me or come and have a chat on one of the mornings when I’m at ENPS collecting enrolments before the 8:45am bell outside the Marcus Rosin Performing Arts Hall.
Cheers,
Andrew Nunns
