Important information in case you missed it!

COVID-safety

Schools are aware that there has been a recent increase in the number of cases of COVID throughout Victoria recently. We want to take this opportunity to remind our parents and carers of the safety precautions implemented at school to protect our whole school community.

  • All classrooms and indoor public meeting spaces run an air purifier throughout the school day. Windows and doors are opened to increase air flow when appropriate.
  • Students are reminded to practice hand hygiene by washing their hands and/or using hand sanitiser, which is available in classrooms and specialist rooms, toilets and the office.

We ask you to help us keep everyone safe by:

  • Keeping children home if they have tested positive to COVID and are symptomatic. While it is not compulsory to inform the school, we do appreciate this information being shared with us so we can monitor cases across classes. RATs are available for free from the front office.
  • It is always an option for members of our community to wear a mask if they have any concerns about their own symptoms or sharing a space with others. We have masks available for students, staff and visitors to use.

Most importantly, we would like to remind everyone that if your child is unwell, with any type of symptoms, the best place for them to be is recuperating at home. Students and teachers learn and interact best when they are feeling 100%. If students are home sick,  please make sure that you log the absence on Sentral.
