Welcome back to school. I hope that you all had a wonderful Summer break. We have already been hearing lots of stories about visiting relatives, relaxing at the beach and sleeping in until lunchtime!
We have been very busy in setting up our OSHC and our very first School Holiday Program – which is very exciting!
Just a note about sharing the OSHC spaces in the building and the yard. Parents and carers are welcome to visit our program and enjoy the beautiful grounds of our school. As we are an operating childcare service, we ask that you supervise your children at all time (unless booked into the program) and be respectful of our hard working educators. We appreciate your support and we are here if you need us.
IMPORTANT:
1. Bookings do not roll over from last year. You must submit your new permanent bookings for 2024 via email
2. Permanent Booking for 2024 are now open.
Please be aware that all permanent bookings for 2023 do not carry over for 2024.
You don’t need to re-enroll your child as your account is already linked to your child enrolment.
If you need permanent booking for your child in 2024, please send an email to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the days and sessions that you need.
If you don’t know your dates yet, you can send an email with your request later in January 2024
3. Booking and Cancellation Policy
A reminder that OSHC updated the Booking and Cancellation Policy as the 1st of January 2023.
All casual bookings and all session cancellation (for both permanent and casual bookings) are required a 24 hours notice prior the relevant session starting time.
This provides OSHC team to cater for a better service, including food preparation and staff ratio.
4. Enrolments changes: if you need to make any changes in your enrolment, such as diet requirement, medical conditions, new address or phone number and contact list, please email your changes to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au
5. Child Care Subsidy(CCS): please make sure that you are entitled for CCS through your app. If your CCS has dropped, please make sure that you:

PROGRAM For week 1 Term 3:
QIP (Quality Improvement Plan):
As we are working to establish our first School Holiday Program (SHP), it is important that our focus on the QIP, this year, is on Quality Area 7 – Leadership, in particular in Governance and Management Systems.
We have set up two crucial actions to establish our SHP:
The roles and job descriptions may vary after the first SHP to adjust the needs of the program and staff. This means job descriptions will be reviewed throughout the year.
