Seesaw

Seesaw is an online platform designed specifically for primary aged students, their teachers and families. Brunswick North West uses this platform to share examples of student learning between school and home. It is a closed platform (meaning only family members with a password and teachers working directly with the class can access the photos and information shared) which allows us to show student photos and videos with more freedom.

Term one is a time for our teachers to set up their classes and to develop routines for regularly sharing student work. Our expectations for sharing work are different for each year level. By the end of Term One you can expect:

  • Foundation and Junior School students to share one piece of work each week;
  • Middle School students to share two pieces of work each week;
  • Senior School students to share three pieces of work each week;
  • Specialists will start posting in Term Two, which is when our students will also begin to increase the amount they are posting.

If you have any questions about accessing Seesaw, student privacy or the amount your child is posting, we ask that you first speak with your child’s classroom teacher.
