Year One Team News

Hello Year One families,

We can’t believe that the school year is almost over! While it seems like 2025 has flown by, the students in Year One have made incredible growth in their learning, and we are proud of each and every one of them. We are certain that they are ready for the exciting challenges of Year Two and we can’t wait to see how they grow, learn and change next year. We wish all Year One families a safe, happy and fun summer break and we can’t wait to see our Willy Kids refreshed and ready to learn in January, 2026.

Buddy Ice-Creams - 16th December

On Tuesday the 16th of December,  our Year 1 students will be celebrating the end of the year with their buddies. Students will be heading to Sadler Reserve for an ice-cream! This is for students to enjoy a treat together and celebrate the special friendships that they have developed over the school year. Students should bring $5 to school in a labelled bag, which can be used to purchase an ice-cream for themselves on the day.     

Take Home Books: We have been collecting all the take home and library books. If you have any school books please ask your child to return them as soon as possible. 

Last Day of Term: Friday 19th December: End of Year! Early dismissal at 1:30pm from classrooms.

We hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday break! Thank you again for all your support and commitment in 2025, it is very much appreciated.
