Year of Jubilee
Bonjour à tous.
Enrolment Intentions for 2026. If you will not be returning to St Laurence's in 2026 please let the office know as soon as possible as we are in the process of arranging classes for next year.
We are still chasing fee intention forms. We would appreciate it if these can be returned to school asap.
Well, what a day we've all had. Once again Mme Gatehouse has provided us all with another fantastic French Day. We know the amount of work that goes into preparing and running a day like this, so thank you so much.
There was loads of red, white and blue, stripes and berets. I spied some French fries, croissants, chefs, some minions, soccer players, Marcel Marceau, artists just to name a few.
This Sunday is the 1st Sundy of Advent.
ADVENT is a special time in our calendar. It is when we prepare our hearts and homes to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
The Advent wreath is a circle of greenery with four candles signifying Hope, Love, Joy and Peace. For each week of Advent, a new candle is lit as we move closer to Christmas. The first candle to light is a purple one representing Hope. It is sometimes called the 'Prophecy Candle'.

Lord, a new day is here. I’ve never lived this day before. It’s full of unknown. It’s full of possibility. It’s full of moments no one but You can see. Thank You for seeing ahead of me on my path and being there to catch me when I fall. I can only live one moment at a time. Help me to live in each moment, knowing You are there. Your Holy Spirit dwells in me each moment, giving me comfort, and guiding and directing me. Thank You for Your grace and presence. Give me guidance and grace to walk in Your light today. AMEN
