                 Second Sunday of Advent - This Sunday! 

This Sunday marks the Second Week of Advent, a sacred time in our Catholic faith when we continue preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ. As part of our Advent journey, we will light the second candle on the Advent wreath — the Candle of Peace.

As a school, we are helping students understand that Advent is a time of hope, peace, and drawing closer to God. Here are some photos of our Year 1 students learning about Advent during their Religious Education lessons this week.

Week 10 Advent Liturgies

Next week, as we continue our journey through the Advent season, each year level will gather for a short Advent Liturgy, focusing on the candle for that week and its spiritual meaning. These liturgies are a beautiful opportunity for our school to pray together as a Catholic community.

Families are warmly invited to join us:

• Year 1: Monday 8th December, 2:30–3:00pm
• Year 2: Tuesday 9th December, 9:00–9:30am
• Years 3 & 4: Wednesday 10th December, 9:00–9:30am
• Years 5 & 6: Thursday 11th December, 9:00–9:30am
• Prep Nativity: Friday 12th December, 9:00–9:30am
