Welcome

Hello Vermont families and welcome to the Mathematics section of the Nurlendi News! Here is where we will share any exciting resources, news and activities from Maths classes across Vermont Primary School.

Year 1

This week 1MF were out and about in the playground trying to find as many shapes as they could see.

Year 2

Miss Mealings' class have been learning about graphs and are creating posters on the data they have collected.

Year 5

The Year 5s are working on Measurement at the moment. These students have measured their heights and using subtraction to calculated the differences.

Year 6

Mr S. and the Year 6s are looking at central tendency and measuring the heights of the students in our class to see what measure best suits and is the most useful - is it Mean, Median or Mode?
