Inquiry

This term in Inquiry, Grade 2 students will be exploring ‘Our Place in the World’. Students will:

• Learn about the features of our planet including its hemispheres and continents, and its proximity in our solar system.
• Investigate and reflect on the events, foods, cultures and traditions of other countries and of Australia. 

Through this unit, students will improve upon their ability to think critically and respectfully about other cultures and acquire deeper understanding and appreciation of these cultures. An exhibition at the end of term will highlight and showcase learning samples throughout this inquiry focus. This will be a celebration of all we have learnt throughout this unit.
