Thank you to everyone who came along to the open afternoon, welcome to country and Wominjeka picnic! It was a lovely way to start our year together. Particular thanks to Bernadetta and the OSHC team for organising the welcome to country and smoking ceremony, and Keir, Bev and the teaching team for opening the classrooms so we could see where our small people are learning this year.

Volunteer!

The Community Events Team is all about keeping things manageable, but we would love to encourage people to get involved with the school in the way that works best for your family. We aim to run one bigger and 1-2 smaller events each term, and there will be opportunities to contribute in different ways. We also welcome anyone interested in joining the team this year, either as a committee member or to help organise a particular event. Get in touch if you are interested! We are meeting tonight for our first meeting of the year to line up the plans.

Other CET dates ahead:

Plant and Produce Market - 21 March: bake or bring plants/produce, and/or set up and serve at the market 2:30-4pm. We will be asking grade 6 parents to assist with setting up and serving at this event, and the whole school community to contribute produce or baked goods if they can.

Please see your Term 1 school calendar for dates or pick up one from the front office!

All volunteers at the school need a valid Working With Children’s Check - click this link to apply if you don’t have one. It’s fairly straightforward and free for volunteers.
