Care and Connection

Lunchtime Clubs
Lunchtime clubs have begun this week at Good Shepherd. The benefits of lunchtime clubs are numerous, including:
- providing opportunities for building social connection with others.
- creating a safe and supportive environment through structured play at a time when unstructured play largely occurs.
- reducing the risk of social isolation.
- allowing children to pursue areas of interest or passion.
- engage creatively in a range of activities.
Please see below the Junior Primary and Upper Primary lunchtime club opportunities available to students this term. Posters are located in the corridors and classrooms for students to check the clubs available on different days of the week. Stay tuned for any further Lunchtime club updates.
Thank you for your support.

Can You Help?
We are truly blessed to have wonderful people share their time and love with others here at Good Shepherd. It is a key factor that helps to make this place feel like home.
Over the last couple of years, one of our school mums has been the smiling face serving tea and coffee before and after our Wednesday Worship. We are so thankful for her kindness and service.
As her circumstances have now changed, I would love to hear from others who might be able to serve in this manner. If this is you, please come and have a chat (over a coffee perhaps) or email me here.
Love to hear from you soon!

Coffee and Connect
It’s Week Two! How are you managing the school routine? How are you coping with the warm weather? I’m sure you have a story or two to share.
Foundation parents, how has this week been for you? Our regular Friday morning Coffee and Connect gatherings began last Friday and we’ll be meeting again in the morning!
After you have dropped your children off for the day, you are most welcome to join us in the church café (just come through the courtyard). This is a great opportunity to meet people in our community and make new friends.
We meet each Friday during term time from 8:30am until 10 am.
Join us for a free coffee/tea. Stay for 10 minutes or until 10am!
It can be comforting and encouraging to hear each other’s stories. Toddlers are welcome! (We have a small playground. You just need to keep an eye on your little one(s) for safety reasons.) I look forward to seeing you soon!
Blessings,
Georgie
