This week, the Overnewton Junior Strings, String Fusion and the String Orchestra travelled to the Hawthorn Arts Centre to participate in the Victorian Schools Music Festival.

The Festival of Music – Light!
Tickets are now available for all but one of the Festival of Music concerts. Featuring music from Debussy to Megadeth (and that’s just at the VCE Stars concert) and performances by students from Prep to Year 12, there’s something for everyone.
Don’t miss the College ensembles and the capable, advanced students showcasing their talents.

Burrito Band at Junior School
The Burrito Band will be appearing at the Junior School Book Parade this Friday. We wish them well as they make their debut performance.
Battle of the Bands this Friday!
The College has two bands performing at the Battle of the Bands to be held on Friday at Penola Catholic College. Hit By the Sun and Crash Out will be performing songs with the 1990s theme of the event. We wish the student participants well.

Individual Music Lessons – Term 3 is a great time to start lessons!
