Staffing Changes

It is with regret that we farewell Mel Butler as she leaves her permanent position as a Science teacher at the College.

Ms Butler has been part of the College for many years, initially in a relief capacity before becoming a permanent member of the teaching staff. She has made a fantastic contribution during her time here. In addition to her teaching, she has been actively involved in coaching Country Week teams and supporting numerous excursions and activities.

Fortunately for the College, Ms Butler will still be available for relief on occasion and we look forward to seeing her from time to time.

We are pleased to announce that Mrs Imogen Ambrosa has been appointed to this position and will commence permanently at the College from the beginning of Term 4.

For the remainder of this term, classes will be covered by a combination of Mr Gerald Thomas (Year 10 Science and Year 12 Plant Production Systems), Mrs Ambrosa (Science in Practice), and Mrs Pfitzner (Curtin Uni-Ready).

Year 12 Students

Year 12 students are reminded to stay focused on their schoolwork as they enter the final weeks of their secondary schooling. There are still numerous assessments to complete and the effort students put in now can make a real difference to their final subject grades.

We encourage students to have regular conversations with their teachers to ensure they are on track to achieve the results they need for graduation.
