ACS Night Match - AFL 

Next Wednesday is our annual AFL Night match against Loyola College. The Night Game tradition between Overnewton and Loyola began in 2015 and is hosted in alternate years by each school. Whilst it started as a Boys Football event, a Junior Girls match was introduced in 2017, and progressed to being both Boys’ and Girls’ Senior teams in 2018. 

Next week’s game will be held at Joe Brown Oval in Keilor and we would love to see as many people from our Overnewton community in attendance. Please see below times for our girls and boys matches 

• Senior Girls – 4:30pm 

• Senior Boys – 6pm

Year 4-6 House Athletics Carnival 

This week we held our Year 4-6 Athletics carnival at Keilor Park, which was a fantastic day filled with energy and outstanding achievements from our students.  

Across the track and field events, our students gave their very best, displaying skill and determination. There were many standout performances, with several students achieving personal bests. It was great to see the levels our students were pushing themselves to in order to earn points for their House. Equally commendable was the incredible support from our parent helpers, whose generosity of time and effort ensured the smooth running of the day.  

Congratulations to all students for their participation and effort and thank you to everyone who made the day such a success. We look forward to sharing the overall House and individual results at school assemblies across the next week.
