It’s been a busy (and very colourful!) couple of weeks in our classroom with Book Week and Pyjama Day keeping us on our toes. A huge thank you to all the parents who worked their magic with costumes—your efforts were incredible, and the kids loved showing off their characters and proudly explaining which book they belonged to.

 

In Writing, we’ve been diving into the world of farm animals and have been transferring this knowledge into reports. In Mathematics, we have been focusing on addition. The Foundation students have been experimenting with strategies like using counters, number lines, and counting on from the biggest number. Meanwhile, the Grade Ones are revising their knowledge of doubles, near doubles, number bonds to ten, and add 10.
